Los Angeles, CA — Independent artist and community advocate Rio MF Dio is organizing a student sock donation initiative and is seeking guidance from local school districts to identify a school where the donation would be most beneficial.

The initiative is designed to support students by providing socks, an essential item that is frequently requested by schools yet often under-supplied. The goal is to work in alignment with district leadership to ensure the donation is appropriate, impactful, and directed toward a school serving families in need.

Rio MF Dio is particularly interested in partnering with:

  • Public middle, or high schools

  • Schools with identified student-support or wellness programs

  • Schools serving economically diverse or underserved communities

This outreach is intended to be respectful of district policies and procedures. Rio MF Dio welcomes direction from district representatives regarding the most appropriate school, department, or point of contact for coordination.

School districts, school administrators, counselors, or designated staff members who wish to recommend a school or express interest in receiving a sock donation are invited to respond through official communication channels.

To assist with the selection process, responses may include:

  • School name and district

  • Grade levels served

  • Brief description of student need or existing support programs

  • Appropriate point of contact for follow-up

Once a school is identified and approved, additional details regarding the timing and scope of the donation will be shared directly with the district and participating school.

For further information or to provide a recommendation, district representatives are encouraged to respond through official communication channels.
