There’s something electric about the creative process—the way ideas transform from thoughts into visuals, from notes into beats, and from choreography into energy that lights up the screen. The “Stand Up” music video project is exactly that kind of magic. After wrapping up our first shoot with an incredible team of dancers and actors, I’m excited to share a sneak peek at what’s been happening behind the scenes. Get ready for a whole new vibe with this video!

The Concept

The “Stand Up” video isn’t just about the music; it’s about empowerment, resilience, and making a statement. We wanted an unconventional setting, something that juxtaposed the typical “9-to-5” grind with the freedom and power of self-expression. With an office setup, cubicles, and all, we transformed an everyday workspace into a stage for high-energy moves and fierce attitudes.

The Vibe

We went for a mix of glamour and grit. Think leather outfits, bold poses, and unapologetic confidence. Each dancer brought their unique style, but together, they embodied the spirit of “Stand Up.” Everyone’s in all-black, a conscious choice to create a unified, powerful look that contrasts sharply with the office environment. The setting, scattered with mock “cash” for that extra flair, added to the rebellious energy we’re channeling in this video. This isn’t your typical office scene—it’s a celebration of breaking norms and standing up for your individuality.

The Team

I’m fortunate to work with an amazing crew. We had four talented dancers who brought incredible energy to every scene, creating a dynamic group with each move. This team’s chemistry is unbelievable, and it’s reflected in every shot. The dancers’ synergy with Rio Mf Dio is exactly what brings the concept to life, capturing the essence of “Stand Up” as a message of resilience and self-empowerment.

Challenges and Triumphs

Of course, no shoot is without its challenges. As always in a creative project, we had some tight moments, and we realized that a few extra shots may be needed to capture everything we envisioned. So, we’re thinking of going back to the office for a few additional clips to perfect the vision.

What’s Next?

The excitement is only building as we move into the next stages of production. The extra shots will allow us to capture even more detail and ensure that every moment on screen embodies the spirit of the song. The final video will be packed with energy, attitude, and movement—exactly the kind of intensity that “Stand Up” deserves.

Stay tuned for the official release! This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait for everyone to see the final product. Keep an eye out for sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes shots as we bring the “Stand Up” music video to life. This project is about breaking free, standing tall, and doing it with style.

Yeah I did that

One of my entrepreneurial projects. Location was Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance. Peak business is around the holidays for new brands. And you really have to hire the right people. I'll dive into that in a separate article. Look out for my pop up events.
