Before the spotlight and the stage, Rio Mf Dio was already building something powerful — a brand that represents drive, independence, and fearless ambition. In 2016, she founded Frillwit, a fitness and lifestyle apparel company born from her passion for creativity, movement, and empowerment.

What started as an idea during her fast-paced career in the luxury auto industry turned into a hands-on business venture that she funded completely on her own. There were no investors or outside backing — just determination, long nights, and belief in her vision. Rio began by printing apparel straight from her home office, learning every detail of production and design firsthand.

Her dedication and vision soon took Frillwit from local fit expos and pop-up shops to a full retail location at the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, one of California’s largest shopping centers. The store stood proudly among major brands, proving that an independent creator could hold her own in a competitive space.

For Rio, the experience was about more than selling clothes — it was about building something from the ground up, with her own two hands. “You really have to hire the right people and stay on top of everything,” she explains. “The holidays are peak season, and you learn fast how to balance creativity with operations.”

Today, Frillwit has evolved into a fully online brand, carrying the same authenticity and energy it was built on. Each collection reflects Rio’s journey — a mix of grit, self-expression, and the courage to keep pushing forward.
