What do you like most about making music?
I like being able to say anything I want, putting it on a beat and saying, damn! I talked some shit on that! Haha! It's like a high I get when I complete song, a sense of satisfaction.
What inspired you to start rapping and making music?
Hard to answer this one because I started when I was 12 years old and I don't remember why I started exactly. It's been too long. I just fell into it. But I'll tell you today I just do it because my life is so complicated with rules and corporate shit, I would go crazy if I wasn't able to be creative and express myself. It's really just entertainment for me.
Describe your creative process when you write new music.
There's a few different ways I get into my creative zone. Sometimes in my home but my house would have to be clean for me to go in all the way or else I wouldn't be able to think.
A lot of the time it's in my car listening to a beat I like. I keep it on loop and I just start vibing to it. I repeat myself a lot if I like what i'm saying. But don't ever write a song in the car. It's dangerous. LOL
I don't do rough drafts unless it's for a particular purpose. Usually I'm just writing and it all flows together like a nice little story.
Who's your ideal musician to collaborate with and why?
It would probably be O.T. Genasis because he's so clever and entertaining to me. I just like his music. I ran into him at the Bentley dealership once. It was funny because I caught him while he was eating a burger.
Are there any musicians who inspire you?
There's so many dope musicians who inspire me. From the local people I know to those who are ridiculously famous. That's when you know music is good. I'm not going to name any but if any of my friends that make music are reading this... it could be you.
